This policy sets out how we collect, use, share and retain personal data, and the rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

1.1 C4WEB STUDIO SRL is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
1.2 Enquiries concerning this policy, or concerning the exercise of your rights under it, should be addressed to [email protected].
2.1 Booking enquiries submitted through this website: your name, email address, telephone number where provided, your video call preference, the tour and dates of interest, and any information you enter in the description field.
2.2 Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.
2.3 Confirmed bookings: the details recorded in your Tour Booking Agreement, including the names and addresses of all participants, together with any information you provide regarding health, dietary requirements or allergies.
2.4 Website visits: cookies and analytics data, as described in clause 5.
2.5 We do not request payment card details through this website and do not store them. Deposits are settled by bank transfer or through a payment link, and card data is handled by the payment provider.
3.1 Responding to your enquiry and delivering your tour. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and subsequently performance of that contract.
3.2 Sending our newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, given at the point of subscription. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
3.3 Sending tour news to persons who have submitted a booking enquiry. Where you submit a booking enquiry, your email address is added to our tour news list. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in informing prospective and past guests of our tours, together with the soft opt-in applicable to persons who have enquired about our services. Every message we send contains an unsubscribe link.
3.4 Health and dietary information. This constitutes a special category of personal data under Article 9 GDPR. Legal basis: your explicit consent, given when you provide it. Such information is used solely to provide for your safety and dietary needs, is disclosed to accommodation or catering providers only to the extent necessary, and is deleted following your tour.
3.5 Operating the website and analysing its use. Legal basis: our legitimate interest, and your consent in respect of tracking cookies.
4.1 Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — our email platform. Newsletter subscribers and booking enquirers are held there as contacts. Data remains within the EU.
4.2 Accommodation providers, restaurants and local suppliers engaged for your tour — participant names, and dietary or accessibility requirements to the extent necessary.
4.3 Akamai Technologies (Linode) — our hosting provider. The website and its form submissions are held on Linode infrastructure.
4.4 Analytics and advertising providers — as set out in clause 5.
4.5 We do not sell personal data. We do not disclose it to any other party except where required by law.

5.3 You may block these services through your browser settings, through private browsing, or by using a tracker blocker. Blocking them does not impair the functioning of the website.
6.1 Booking enquiries and newsletter contacts: retained indefinitely, until you unsubscribe or request erasure.
6.2 Tour Booking Agreements and payment records: retained for the period required by Romanian accounting legislation, currently ten years.
6.3 Health and dietary information: deleted following your tour.
6.4 Analytics data: retained in accordance with each provider's own retention settings.

7.3 Where you consider that we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
8.1 We record photographs and video during tours and use this material on our website, in our newsletter and on social media. Participants who prefer not to appear should notify the guide at the start of the tour, and will be excluded from such material.
